About Dreadlocks
All human hair dreadlocks can be bleached and dyed except for Pre-Colored Black. For lighter colors like 27# or 613# you can simply dye locs to whatever colors you like. For darker color like 1B# or 4#, you can bleach the locs with Bleaching Cream first then dye to colors you like. All human hair locs and afro hair bulk can be bealched or dyed unless it states as Pre-Colored Black.
Yes, you can install it on for a very long time. However, locs extensions still need a bit care while using. For example, after many times wash, locs will be loose and soft, if you want locs to be stiffer, you will need to lock up the locs again by yourself, just like your natural locs.
Mostly, 60 strands of locs are enough for a full head, no matter the locs are 0.8cm or 0.6cm. However, there are some customers love to add volume up to 120 locs. You can definitely add more locs based on your own needs and preference.
In our site, we only offer 100% Real Human Hair. Customers can test the material by burning test, human hair emits white smoke and burnt protein smell while burning, and turns to ash while rubbing by fingers. Synthetic hair emits black smoke and plastic smell while burning, and turns to plastic sticky ball.
It depends on the length and width of the locs. For 8 inch 0.8 cm locs, 50g/bundles afro hair bulk can make 18-20 strands.
1B# is natural black, 4#, 30#, 27#, 613# are bleached and dyed from 1B#. From 4#, 30#, 27#, to 613#, the color will become lighter and lighter, but it will take more and more time to bleach, and the hair quality will be affected to a certain extent. It is recommended that 27# and 613# do not bleach anymore。
For cleaning the dreadlocks, it is recommended to soak or rinse, then rub the shampoo from the root of the scalp to produce foam, apply it to the dreadlocks and squeeze instead of rubbing, so that the dreadlocks are completely soaked.
Then rinse or soak with clean water, and squeeze out the shampoo in the dreadlocks completely.
After rinsing, use a towel to squeeze out excess moisture. You can use a hair dryer, but don’t blow it for too long, otherwise the dreadlocks will become very dry and easy to loosen, and the scalp will be easily damaged because of too much exposure for the dreadlocks hairstyle. It is recommended to absorb excess water with a towel and let it dry naturally.
After installation for a period of time, even with careful maintenance, the dreadlocks will gradually loosen a little due to daily life. At this time, you can use crochet to lock them again, or seek the help of a hair stylist.
About Toupee
Length: The front to back measurement is length of the base.
Width: The ear to ear measurement is width of the base.
Follow this method to measure the size of the area where you want to install the toupee.
First, you need wash your hair and then dry completely to make an oil-free and remove any stubble/hair from the area of scalp to be bonded. You can use the hairline as a reference point and try it in advance to confirm the position where you need to cut.
Then, we recommend apply a thin layer of a scalp protector on the lace and the scalp where your toupee will be. Then leave it dry.
Turn your toupee inside out and lay it on a stand or mannequin head. You should not lay it on the surface flat because it can make your toupee not shape well on your scalp when wearing. Use a brush and gently remove any knots.
Remove the protective paper from one side of the double-sided tape and apply the tape to the edge of the toupee, just follow the contour. Also do it on the center of the scalp where the toupee will be. EXCEPT the front hairline and the front of your scalp.
Then, first remove the double-sided tape's protective paper on the hairline of the toupee, and then according to hairline, you need to gently fix the toupee on the head.
Then remove the all other double-sided tape's protective paper, in the order from front to back, the hair system is tightened onto the scalp, pressing firmly on the tape area and smoothing it out to avoid wrinkles or folds. Simply brush to blend in with your own hair and you are finished.
Tip: Leave a small space between pieces of tape at the sides and back to allow for water and shampoo to escape if wearing your system for extended periods of time.
There are many types of glue in the market. But you should consider carefully, opt the best quality adhesive that does not irritate your skin. The adhesive will be used basically for the day or just a couple of days.
Measure and mask the area to apply the hair system on, shave the area clean and wash the scalp then make it dry
Apply adhesive. Once you have done, you look for where the glue is and then press it into your scalp. Brush adhesive down to the marsk, but do not cover the marsk. Leave it dry completely before brushing and styling the hairpiece.
Never try to apply liquid bond directly to a lace system. Instead, apply it on your scalp and place the unit on your head.
Please note it is important to keep your system dry and perspiratiom free for 24 hours after attachment.
